# Chapter 7 Bankruptcy — Remodel Notes

## Scope (deliberately conservative — this is NOT a rebuild)
The live page already names Honolulu (H1 + ~7 spots), is ~3,300 words deep, and is richly
internal-linked. Per the audit, over-editing a #6 page risks the ranking. **Live inspection
2026-06-12 (Chrome) narrowed the scope further** — see "Live findings" below. Final package:

1. **Title tag** (the #1 audit fix — still "in Hawaii")  → Yoast
2. **Meta description** (currently generic / "Hawaii")    → Yoast
3. **Attorney byline + Person (author) schema** (the YMYL trust gap; the ONLY schema gap)

Dropped after live check: **FAQPage schema** (page already emits a 9-Q FAQPage) and **review
embeds** (page already has a reviews section + Review schema). Internal links already strong.
Everything else left as-is.

## Live findings (Chrome, 2026-06-12)
- **SEO plugin: Yoast** (title/meta + schema managed here).
- Current title: `Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Lawyers in Hawaii | Blake Goodman, PC, Attorney`.
- Current meta: `If you have questions about Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Hawaii, don't hesitate.
  Contact the experienced team at Blake Goodman, PC, Attorney today.`
- Existing schema on page: WebPage, BreadcrumbList, WebSite, Organization, **FAQPage (9 Qs)**,
  **Review ×6**, LegalService. **No Person/author node** (also absent on the About page).
- Claims "$100" and "Free Initial Consultation" are **live on the page** (usable; confirm currency).
- Headshot is live: `https://www.debtfreehawaii.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/img_attorney_blake.jpg`
  (no Media Library upload needed).

## 1. Title tag  → set in the SEO plugin (Yoast/Rank Math), NOT Elementor

- **New (proposed):** `Honolulu Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Attorney | Blake Goodman, PC`
  - Leads with the exact tracked term ("Honolulu Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Attorney"), 57 chars.
- **H1 stays as-is** (`Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Lawyer in Honolulu, Hawaii`) — already correct.

## 2. Meta description  → SEO plugin
- **Proposed (153 chars):** `Honolulu Chapter 7 bankruptcy attorney Blake Goodman, PC. Wipe out qualifying debt for a fresh start. Free consultation, start for $100. Call 808-517-5446.`
- Claims used are on the verified-claims allow-list ("free consultation," "$100 to start").
  **[CONFIRM]** both are still current before publishing.

## 3. Attorney byline + Person schema  → Elementor HTML widget near the top, under the H1
- Content in `byline.html` (visible byline) + `author-schema.html` (JSON-LD).
- Attributed to **Blake Goodman, Esq.** (Founding Attorney; Hawaii State Bar #007436; J.D., The
  George Washington University Law School; practicing Hawaii bankruptcy since 1996). Bio link:
  `https://www.debtfreehawaii.com/about-us/blake-goodman/`. **CONFIRMED 2026-06-12: Blake Goodman
  is the credited attorney.** Byline image uses the live headshot (no upload needed).
- This is the **only schema gap** on the page (no Person node exists site-wide).

## 4. FAQPage schema  → NOT NEEDED (already present)
- The page already emits a complete **9-question FAQPage** (live check 2026-06-12). Adding ours
  would duplicate. `faq-schema.html` is now a no-op note documenting this. **No action.**
- (Optional, later: confirm each existing FAQ answer in the schema matches its visible text; not
  blocking.)

## 5. Reviews  → NOT NEEDED for v1 (already present)
- The page already has a reviews section + **Review schema (6 nodes)**. `reviews.html` (Alecia U +
  Catrina Crabtree) is kept as an **optional** add only if Josh wants those two specific
  Honolulu/Chapter-7 reviews featured. If used, mark them `live` in
  `content/reviews/REVIEW_USAGE.md`. Otherwise leave the existing reviews untouched.
